Uncertainty Reasoning Laboratory

Uncertainty Reasoning Laboratory focuses its research on developing methods and tools for reasoning and decision making under uncertainty. It aims to serve as a facilitator encouraging collaborative research among researchers in multidisciplinary areas, such as diagnosis, prognosis, computational biology, supply chain risk analysis, and collaborative learning.

Dr. Changhe Yuan (CV) is the director of the URL Lab. He is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Queens College/City University of New York. He is also a doctoral faculty of the PhD Program in Computer Science at The CUNY Graduate Center. He received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science from Tongji University, Shanghai, China and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Intelligent Systems from University of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Yuan is recipient of a 2010 NSF CAREER award titled "CAREER: Explanation, Decision Making, and Learning in Graphical Models."

The slides of our "Tutorial on Optimal Algorithms for Learning Bayesian Networks" (size: 3.1M) presented at IJCAI-13 are available for download.
